Album DescriptionSousa 4 is the fourth in a series of Altissimo! releases from The US Marine Band featuring the music of John Philip Sousa. The selections on this album, with the exception of “National Fencibles”, were recorded live in 1999 and 2000 while the band was on tour. The historic “National Fencibles” recording was completed in 1890 using the acoustic cylinders invented by Thomas Edison.
